Travel Insurance for Seniors
If you are aged 60 and over please visit Travel Insurance for Seniors to buy specially discounted travel insurance.
Travel insurers will consider ALL mature aged travellers, regardless how old they may be.
While we have prices quoted to around 85, persons over that age will be quoted on a case by case basis. You will need to ring us for instructions.
Generally as you get older the price of policies increase. A rough guide is:
- Aged 71-74 +50% of the under 71 year old policy price
- Aged 75-80 +100% of the under 71 year old policy price
- Aged 81-85 +200% of the under 71 Year old policy price
- 85+ Price on application (Clients over 81 may complete an 81-85 application form, but the price shown IS NOT the price you will be charged. We will forward the request to the insurer who, if they accept the application, will then advise us a premium).
The Australian Government currently has reciprocal medical agreements with New Zealand, the United Kingdom, The Republic of Ireland, Sweden, The Netherlands, Finland, Malta Norway and Italy.
